Storms, claims and drone
Drone Inspection
Some roofs are too steep, too high or too fragile to walk, and walking on tile can crack it. A drone flight adds close aerial photos of the roof to your report.

Aerial roof access
When a drone makes sense
- Tile roofsNo foot traffic on tiles that crack easily
- Two-storey and steep roofsFull coverage without a ladder on every slope
- After a stormDamage that isn’t visible from the ground
What we capture
- Every roof slope from above
- Ridges, valleys and flashing
- Tiles or shingles that are missing, slipped or cracked
- Gutters, vents and penetrations
Limitations
- Flights depend on weather, wind and airspace near airports.
- Trees, power lines or the property layout can limit what’s possible.
- If a flight isn’t possible, we tell you before the inspection.
What you receive
- Aerial photos in your report
- Findings described in writing
- Delivered within 24 hours
Questions
Can I add it to another inspection?
Yes. It pairs well with a roof certification, full home inspection or post-storm visit.
Does a drone replace an attic check?
No. Leaks often show up from below, so we still check the attic where it’s accessible.
What does it cost?
It depends on the property and which services you combine. We confirm the price before anything is booked.
Roof hard to reach?
Mention it in your request and we’ll confirm whether a flight is possible.
